 is a minimalist structure located in Hangzhou, China, designed by . Structured as a village, the site contains five large volumes, 800 sqm each, that serve as studios for the emerging artists and designers of Hangzhou. There are panoramic views of the surrounding wetlands due to the architect’s desire to create large frameless openings throughout the space. The six meter tall structure is in concrete, while two smaller sections in steel structure introduce translucent white PC panels as cladding to diffuse direct sunlight.
