Home in House by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects

Home in House is a minimalist installation located in Milan, Italy, designed by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects. This installation is the form of a hut built from about 3,000 white ash timbers of 12mm width. It is situated in the historical Montrasio Arte in the Garibaldi neighborhood. The hut is made of overlapping 1/1 to 1/20 scale models of his previously designed houses. Overcoming the individuality of houses in their unique environments, this exhibit lets one have a linear experience of the universality of architectural composition and process. Inside the hut are new furniture designs by Hiromatsu Furniture, as well as displays of works by collaborating artists.
